About the Artist

Corinna Taylor has been producing exquisite fine art calligraphy for more than thirty years.  Her expertise includes engrossing certificates, social correspondence (invitations and such), manuscript books and ketubahs.

Corinna’s extensive skill and knowledge of historical styles and techniques, including gilding and vellum has won her the highest recognition from the Chicago Calligraphy Collective.  She was the Purchase Prize winner for her work “Voices of Innocence” which gathered the top honor at the 19th Annual Juried Show (see right).

Ms. Taylor's formal education includes a Bachelor of Fine Art from Carnegie-Mellon University (Carnegie Tech); a Master of Fine Art from Brandeis University as well as a diploma from the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, PA.  She continues to study with the Chicago Calligraphy Collective and has studied with noted Calligraphic artists including Reggie Ezell.
